SYNOPSIS

Co-produced with The Open University, 'BURIED with Michael Sheen' follows the Welsh actor as he teams up with environmental journalists to investigate claims of conspiracy, complicity and denial surrounding alleged toxic ‘forever chemical’ contamination in South Wales. 

Researcher and whistleblower Douglas Gowan first raised concerns about the contamination decades ago. His warnings stayed with Michael after they met, driving him to uncover the truth about what lies beneath the land and its potential impact on local communities.
